fun filled weekend

Our weekend consisted mainly of t-ball. Saturday started at 9am with opening ceremonies and then we had breakfast downtown with Pappy G (T's dad). After a filling pancake and chocolate milk D was fueled up for his first game. He was catcher, which was a bit confusing, but worked out okay. (Mama's going to have to move around the chain link next time to get better pictures.) He scored a run! I didn't expect it to be really fun, but everyone was so excited and we (the parents) were constantly cheering. We got snow-cones after the game and headed home. It was a long day.

Sunday we went to church and then had to go take t-ball pictures. We finally made it home around 3:30 and spent the rest of the day relaxing. By the way, I threw some sticker sheets in our quiet bag for church and by the time we left Ry had covered himself in stickers, but was very well behaved. I can't say the same for Rose. She was good for the first half. The second half was not our shining moment. Especially when she tried to open the door of the cry room resulting in a banging sound and then we tried to sit back in our pew, but she started to bolt when we tried to sit so back to the cry room we trudged and when I opened the door and it swung ALL the way open and knocked into the wall of stained glass windows and was terribly loud. T said it was okay because someone else opened it and it was loud so it wasn't just me. How comforting.

Today I'm going through all of our clothes and switching out our winter clothes for spring and summer. Sounds really exciting, huh? Well, it is. I just found an entire selection of shirts I had forgot about! I hope your day is just as thrilling, if not more so.
