ten happy things friday


one 
a) Love the new pillows... didn't know pillows could make a person happy.
b) trying to get baby to smile

sitting on the front porch with my best friend after the kids are tucked in

100 gummy life savers for 100 days of school

(our little nickname for spaghetti squash w/ meat sauce)
delicious.... could eat it several times a week

today is day 26 of living without a microwave
I don't miss it.

living with less feels grand

children that play outside, use their imagination and still don't know how to work the TV remote

  2. New to your blog! We lived for over a year without a microwave, and it really was great! If I had to reheat something, I would just stick it in the oven or toaster oven or add a little water and steam it on the stove. The food even tasted better heated up that way. When we moved to a place with a microwave, I kind of had forgotten to even think of using it as an option!

    3. Totally on board with #6. That's one of our goals for this Spring. To go through our closet and drawers and simplify. It feels so good when you do that!

    And I only kinda, really, definitely, for sure am jealous/ furious/ envious that you are able to go outside. 12 degrees does nothing for the "cooped in the house" crazies.
